Digital planners are interactive PDF files which require a PDF annotation app, such GoodNotes or similar. Most digital planners come with a variety of hyperlinks which will allow you to switch between different pages with ease.

To start using a digital planner, you will need four things:

1. An iPad.

2. Stylus (Apple pencil).

3. PDF annotation app, such as GoodNotes.

4. Digital PDF planner file.

Currently all ella iconic® digital planners are optimised for GoodNotes app which can be purchased from the App Store.

All ella iconic® digital planners are optimised for GoodNotes app. For Android users, you can use Noteshelf, but I would suggest to wait until GoodNotes releases their full version.

You can certainly view your digital planner on your iPhone as long as you have GoodNotes app on it and it is synced via Cloud.

But to fully enjoy a digital planner, an iPad is the preferred option due to its bigger screen size and compatibility with a stylus (Apple pencil).

Digital planners are standalone PDF files enjoyed with PDF annotation apps, meaning they can not be automatically synced with other apps.

However, you can 'drag and drop' your appointments, to dos etc. from your digital planner into Calendar using the lasso tool with a split screen.

Currently all ella iconic® digital planners are optimised to be used with a GoodNotes app (PDF annotation application) which is currently available on iOS devices only.

GoodNotes have released a beta version for Android users, but it does not have all the functionality as of yet. Once they release their full version for Android, then yes, you can enjoy all our digital planners on Android devices.

Post purchasing any ella iconic® digital planner you will receive an email with a link to download your files. This normally takes just a few seconds, so if you have not received an email from us, please do check your spam/junk folder.

To navigate your digital planner you will need to ensure that you are in a read-only mode.

Training of GoodNotes is not provided, but all you really need to know to get started is two modes: edit and read-only.

In edit mode you can write, type, add images and so on. In read-only mode, you can navigate the planner using tabs or hyperlinked buttons.
